My story begins in Oct. of 2011 when I realized that I needed to become healthy or I wasn't going to be around for as long as I wanted to be. After my hysterectomy because of cervical cancer I had the simple mindset I am gonna do what I want because I was going to live like it was my last day on earth each day. Then it hit me doing that wasn't going to help me. So I made the decison to try Insanity because everyone was talking about it. Never once thinking I would finish the program because lets face it I never finish anything I start I went for it. I took my photo's NOT being serious at all and had I known then what I know now, I wouldn't have been so ridicolous with myself. I started seeing/feeling results within the first 10 days and I just carried on with it, then I found my coach and joined the support group and found so much motivation and support that I simply had to carry on. Before I knew it 60 days had gone by and I lost a total of 20 pounds and 8 jean sizes. I WAS HOOKED on fitness then. I became a beachbody coach not long after that I became a Beachbody coach to pay forward what had been done for me. Since then A LOT of stuff has happen and I have been faced with more lemons then I ever had time to make lemonade with. My oldest child ended up having to have back surgery at age 15. Unfortunately that 1 surgery turned into him having to have 3 surgeries total in a 22 month time period. Also within those 2 years our 3rd child ended up with a diagnosis of Autism (finally) after many years of knowing there was something wrong we found the right dr. for him. Then after that I went for an MRI because of neck pain and headaches and what they found there flipped my life upside down YET again. These last 2- 2.5 years I have been back and forth between biopsies and blood tests constantly testing me for Lymphoma because druing the MRI they found a ton of lymphnodes that shouldn't be there. LUCKILY I have been able to stay ahead of the game and stay Lymphoma free. However, I have been diagnosed with Rheumtoid Athritis which also has been a blessing because always being in pain and the dr looking at you like you are crazy got old very fast. Now, after 3 years of successes and failures and ups and downs and gains and losses, I am ready to fight back and gain control over myself again.
